I stumbled upon these [Pantone 2013] pants on a tucked away rack in the back of LOFT & immediately fell in love with the color, fit, & price tag. These suckers were on major sale at $15 & were too fabulous not to own. They have been warmly welcomed into my closet as my first Pantone 2013 item.

I've been a Notre Dame football fan for as long as I can remember -- an Irish family with multiple generations schooled in South Bend, it was written in the stars. I've been bleeding [blue & gold] for years & tonight my team plays for the National Championship title. After last night's Redskins fall from playoff glory I could use a few more crossed fingers & I am, of course, leaning heavily on that Irish luck :)

Fridays are a favorite of mine simply for the fact that I can ditch the suit pants & don something a little more fun. I knew these wide had to be mine from the moment I laid my eyes on them. Since they have joined my closet they've been out to drinks, brunch, & have kept me cozy & casual at work. Hands down my favorite piece of the moment.

Today's [must-haves] come to you from a folder on my desktop entitled "pieces I've been continually lusting after but really shouldn't purchase at the moment since Christmas is right around the corner but maybe they'll sell out because they're so insanely fabulous & I can't live without them but I really shouldn't". Alright, not really but you get the idea. I'm in love.

I may or may not have already purchased these. There are just some things in life that you should do. These pants fell into that category.

We're switching things up a bit this [workwear wednesday] & dishing on the staples to have in your closet this wintery season.
