This past Sunday was the most [must needed] lackadaisical day I've had in awhile. Sleeping in, a late breakfast, long walks, a puppy play date, & a stop at my favorite pastry shop in Georgetown were just a few of the things I was able to soak up. So relaxed, in fact, that a bold fall lip seemed like too big of a move to make [the horror, I know].

I spotted this vintage Lanvin blazer at one of my favorite spots in the city months ago & have been waiting for cooler temps for it to make an appearance. Something tells me we'll be seeing a lot more of this piece in winter as it's perfectly tailored & my favorite go-to color!

I must admit, it's not even mid October & I've been sporting winter wear around the city more often than not. I love this time of year - when you can throw on a knit hat & a great military vest over your favorite maxi to create an effortlessly chic seasonal look. If only it would snow so my knit snood & my favorite mittens could make an appearance!
